Transitional Kindergarten

We are now accepting applications for our 2025-2026 Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program.

Our TK will be a combined Kindergarten/TK program and taught by our licensed and credentialed TK/Kindergarten teacher in the K/TK classroom. It will be a two-year program, the first year TK and the second year Kindergarten. We will use a modified kindergarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate and designed to meet the needs of all students in the classroom.

The application process for TK is the same as for Kindergarten:

• Complete the school application form (can be emailed to us – office@stmonicasf.org)
• $50 non-refundable application fee (can be paid at the time of assessment)
• A copy of the child’s birth certificate
• A copy of the child’s baptismal certificate (if baptized Catholic)
• Complete the top portion of the Preschool Recommendation Form, then give to your child’s preschool to complete and return to us.

Once the application has been submitted, an appointment for the TK Readiness Assessment will be scheduled. Families who register by March 28^th will receive a 50% discount on the registration fee, a savings of $300.
