At Saint Monica School, community is at the center of our program. Older students have buddy time with younger students to foster the spirit of community within our school. Our 5th grade class took a field trip to our partner preschool, Saint Thomas the Apostle Preschool. 5th graders brought snacks for their preschool buddies, read them stories, and spent some time pushing swings and running around with them on the playground. Our 5th graders had the opportunity to act as leaders while the preschoolers enjoy a glimpse of what the future holds for them.
