During the last week in January, all Catholic Schools in the United States celebrate Catholic Schools Week. The theme this year is “United in Faith and Community.” We began the week with the student body attending the 8:30am Parish Mass. A host of activities are planned including celebrating the 100th day of school and Chinese Lunar New Year, “Dress to Impress Day,” Middle School Spelling Bee, and Drop Everything and Read (DEAR). Our Student Council is sponsoring a “Creative Contest” where student create art (e.g., poster, poem) in the theme of CSW. The Junior High Service Club is also sponsoring a Winter Coat and Clothing Drive to benefit St. Anthony’s.
