The 7th grade took a field trip to the Exploratorium. The Exploratorium provides a unique hands-on experience for students in the areas of science, technology, engineering, art and math. The 7th graders spent the day exploring the museum’s many interactive exhibits, videos, and activities. At the Exploratorium, students have the rare opportunity to use all of their senses to learn, from using their bodies to create shadows, to drinking from a toilet, seeing a “painting” of reflected and refracted sunlight, feeling and hearing a tornado and much more.
