Yesterday, we enjoyed a school holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Still, MLK Day is more than just a day off school for us.
Last week, classes remembered MLK in a variety of ways, including grades K-3 station rotation. This week, during morning assembly, students will narrate Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech at morning assembly. Each day, a portion of the speech will be read to the student body while students reflect on Dr. King’s contributions to civil rights.
