We are in our most solemn time of year as we prepare for Easter. During Lent, our students participate in a host of activities in remembrance and celebration of Jesus rising on the 3rd day after dying on the cross.
The second grade class performed a special reenactment of The Last Supper, when Jesus and his disciples gathered to eat the night before he was to be put to death. After the reenactment, the 2nd graders, who had studied one of those who were at the Last Supper, were available to talk with other students and parents in attendance and answer questions about their historical figure.
